Hey, I’m Melissa. I’m your music-loving, cello-playing web designer.

Here I am on tour as Production Coordinator in a rare moment for a break.

Here I am on tour as Production Coordinator in a rare moment for a break.

In college, I couldn’t decide what to major in. I played guitar with friends and cello in orchestra all though high school, but never thought I could go into music.

That just wasn’t a feasible career plan.

So, I finished college with a throw away degree, tried out the office world for a year, and then went to work for a music venue. I couldn’t stay away from what I was being called to do — work with musicians.

I’ve worked in various musical jobs: as production coordinator in venues and on the road, booking assistant, booking agent, merchandise auditor, merchandise seller, runner, stage hand, on-air producer, and most recently social media marketer and creative director for a music festival.

I’m also in a tribute band (cellooo!!), so know how hard it can be to self-promote and how vulnerable it is to put yourself out there.

It’s nice to have someone to talk to, to clarify your ideas, to make them come to light.

I can be that person.
